Description as a Tweet:

Don't Feed The Geese is a short game where the player runs around with a loaf of bread feeding geese.

Inspiration:

The geese at UMass, and also how menacing they are.

What it does:

It's a video game! You play with and try not to feed geese!

How we built it:

We used Unity and an online free pixel art editor to make all sprites and tilesets. Unity was used to put it all together, and it was coded in C#.

Technologies we used:

  • C/C++/C#
  • Misc

Challenges we ran into:

Cutting down our big ideas into something manageable.

Accomplishments we're proud of:

The tilesets, and getting the code to work in time.

What we've learned:

Many things about making games in Unity. Also about how to use github.

What's next:

Adding music!

Built with:

Unity as well as an online pixelart editor and C#.

Prizes we're going for:

  • Best Software Hack
  • Best Beginner Software Hack
