Emotions Manipulate the Future
Description as a Tweet:
Do only tweets by significant personnel affect a company's stock, or can people like us have effects?Indeed yes, our opinion matters and changes the value of any company.
Inspiration:
Being a Linguistics major, I have always believed that our opinions and words can change the fate of anything. This was the seed for this project. Along with that, I have always heard that Elon Musk tweeted something, and the crypto market fell and rose by leaps.
My question here is, do only tweets by such significant personnel affect a company's stock, or can people like us have effects? This is from where my thoughts for this project got inspired.
What it does:
My project can predict the value of any stocks along with that it co-relate to the sentimental analysis being done for the various tweets about the same stock.
How we built it:
I used the various python libraries to build the models starting from the tensorflow to the pre-trained BERT model.

Challenges we ran into:
Initially, there were four people including me in the team. But here, I am presenting alone. Along the way, people backed out because they thought it was impossible to complete such a huge project in 36 hours and also the parts they were handling could not be completed in the time provided.
In terms of the work, it was challenge on my end also, to build models and debug them because of various small bugs. It was for very long time not even in a working status.
Accomplishments we're proud of:
I could present what I thought of. I was able to build ML models which can also be reused in future.
What we've learned:
Never give up. There will be people who will join and back out, but believing yourself and your skills is always important.
I also got to know various new changes in the tensorflow version, tweepy updates and few more.
What's next:
I would love to build a webapp which can make it much more accessible and presentable to people. Along with that, I would be creating many more models with high power computing to make it more accurate.
